So you're wanting to get into audio recording in one form or
another. Maybe you got a new CD burner or maybe you're looking
into getting a set of microphones and becoming a taper. Or maybe
you need to find a certain band's official homepage. Maybe
you're just looking for a particular setlist or lyric. Maybe
you're just looking for sites on the net where you can listen to
music as you peruse the web. Well, you've come to the right
place to get yourself started.
Let's start with square one,
assuming you're here because you want to get into taking full
advantage of the web and all of it's resources. You have a CD
burner and you're not sure where to begin. How do I extract CDs
to my hard drive? How do I download from an FTP site or a WWW
site? How do I burn or download SHNs and convert them to WAV
files? This is all explained in a page I have developed a page
called CDr101. It explains
all of this and includes free downloads of software that you'll
need in order to get started.
Listed below are drop down
menus where you can find lyrics, setlists and official
band web sites. Also listed in drop down format are trader
lists. If you have a list and need a place to store it on the
web, please feel free to e-mail
me and I will gladly do so. My list is listed below as well.
However, I only trade from my CDr list. I welcome all trades and
will do B&Ps if I am not incredibly busy. Feel free to ask
but please don't pester. Lastly, there is a CDr template in Word
format, so if you have Microsoft Word, it's an awesome thing to
use for making CD covers.
Enjoy!
